I think the main problem for me is: why does the coupon for the free guitar exist, if the shop owner isn't going to redeem it legitimately?  Did it come from somewhere else?  Or did he just not want to give away his last guitar?  Also, why would he be giving away free guitars anyway?  Just some things that bothered me.  I think if you think it out a little more you should be able to fix it.
